A super king is the biggest standard bed size, and it changes how a couple sleeps: at 6ft wide, each person has as much room as on a single bed. It needs a generous bedroom, but if you have the space, few people go back.

Super king bed frame size
A super king takes a 6ft (180 x 200cm) mattress, 30cm wider than a king size. Add the frame, headboard and footboard to that, and leave about 60–70cm on each side and at the foot to walk round it. As a rough guide, the room wants to be at least 3.5m in each direction.
Getting a super king into the room
The frame arrives in parts, but the mattress doesn't fold. Measure the stairs, landing and bedroom door for the mattress as well as the room itself. Our own team carries everything into the room you choose.
Upholstered and velvet super king beds
An upholstered super king with a tall headboard turns the bed into the centrepiece of the room. Velvet and boucle feel luxurious; grey and beige are easiest to live with. A low footboard keeps the bed from feeling enormous.
Wooden super king bed frames
A solid oak or timber-wash frame gives a large bed a lighter, more natural look and suits a Scandinavian or country bedroom.

Our own team delivers across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and carries everything into the room you choose, not just to the door. Assembly is optional and can be added when you order; the cost is shown on each product.
