Seasonal Decorations: Knitted Pumpkins, Garlands and Baubles

Our seasonal decorations are small touches that mark the change of season at home, from the first cool evenings of autumn through to the run-up to Christmas. The collection brings together knitted pumpkins in rust, brown and cream, garlands for mantels and shelves and tree decorations.

Decorating for autumn

Knitted pumpkins work best in groups. Mix the rust, brown and cream versions on a console table, a hearth or a deep window sill, and add the Woodland Garland or the Frosted Twig Garland along a mantel for a natural, layered look that can stay out from October until the end of November.

Getting ready for the festive season

Dressing the tree

Choose one or two finishes and repeat them. The silver Crackle Glass Baubles, the gold Acorn Tree Decorations and the Hanging Houses set of six can be combined on the same tree or kept apart for a simpler scheme. Hang heavier pieces closer to the trunk, where the branches are strongest.

Lights and garlands

The gold Brush Tree Garland has 15 LED lights, which makes it an easy way to add a soft glow to a shelf or mantel. Before buying, measure the length of the surface you want to dress so you know whether one garland is enough or whether two will look better.

Gifting and storing

The white Gifting Hares, sold as a pair, make a thoughtful present. When the season ends, wrap glass pieces individually and store them in a dry box so they are ready for next year.
