Centrepieces — Artificial Flowers, Candles & Seasonal Décor
Read moreA centrepiece gives a dining table, sideboard or mantelpiece a point of interest when it isn't in use. Artificial flowers and stems last all year, and a change of candles or a seasonal garland is enough to mark the time of year.
Display them on dining tables, sideboards, console tables or coffee tables, and see also candles and diffusers, figurines and ornaments and all decorative accessories.
What's in the range
Artificial flowers and stems
Peony sprays, daffodil bundles, wildflower bundles of daisies, dahlias and roses in 45cm and 70cm heights, single protea and reed stems, berry bunches and frosted standing grass. Put them in a vase on their own or mix them into a fuller arrangement.
Candles and candle holders
Taper candles, standing and iron candle holders and a black lantern with glass sides, for indoor use with candles bought separately.
Seasonal decorations
Easter bunnies, an Easter egg tree, egg wreaths and garlands for spring, and pumpkin, pine cone and leaf garlands for autumn.
Choosing a table centrepiece
Keep a dining table centrepiece low enough to see over when seated, or tall and slim enough to see past. On a round or oval table, one central arrangement works best; on a long rectangular table, a line of smaller pieces or a garland down the middle fills the length better. Leave space for plates and serving dishes when you eat.
Styling a sideboard or mantelpiece
Group pieces in odd numbers and vary the heights: a tall stem arrangement at one side, candles in the middle, something low at the other end. A mirror or a picture behind ties the group together.
Centrepiece FAQs
How tall should a dining table centrepiece be?
Low enough that people can see each other across the table when seated, or tall and narrow enough to see past.
How do you clean artificial flowers?
Dust them with a soft brush or a hairdryer on a cool setting. Check the product details before using water.
