Torelli Modena Travertine Extending Table 160cm

The Torelli Modena Travertine Extending Table 160cm is an extending dining table with a 12 mm travertine ceramic top, measuring 63″ (160 cm) closed and 86⅝″ (220 cm) extended, 35⅜″ (90 cm) wide and 29⅞″ (76 cm) high.

Sixty Centimetres More When You Need It

An end-extension mechanism carries the top from 160 cm to 220 cm, which is roughly two more places at the ends. The closed size already works as a family table rather than feeling like a small one waiting to be opened, so the longer setting stays for the days it is actually wanted. At 90 cm across there is a clear strip down the middle once places are laid.

A Ceramic Top That Takes a Hot Pan

The surface is 12 mm travertine-effect ceramic, which resists heat, scratching and staining in a way a lacquered timber top does not, so a dish can come straight out of the oven onto it. Below, a timber pedestal softens the look and a black metal base holds it steady. Matching dining chairs and a sideboard are made in the same range.
